Chairman

Kazuhiko Toyama has started his career with BCG and later became one of the founding members of Corporate Directions, Inc. (CDI), a Tokyo-based independent management consulting firm, eventually becoming its CEO. In 2003, he was appointed to lead Industrial Revitalization Corporation of Japan (IRCJ), a government-backed restructuring fund, as COO. In 2007, when IRCJ was dissolved, he founded Industrial Growth Platform, Inc. (IGPI), and served as CEO until September 2020. In 2020, he founded Japan Platform of Industrial Transformation (JPiX), an investment and business management firm by providing capital along with long-term management support.

He graduated from Faculty of Law of the University of Tokyo and holds an MBA from Stanford University. He has passed the Japanese National Bar Examination.

Since 2022, he is Chairman of JACD.

Vice Chairman

Michiaki Hirose

(Senior Corporate Advisor, TOKYO GAS CO.,LTD)

Michiaki Hirose joined in Tokyo Gas in 1974 after graduating from School of Political Science and Economics, Waseda University. He has worked in several areas, including Corporate Planning, Project Management and Corporate Communications.

He was appointed as the Director and Senior Executive Officer in 2009. He became Executive Vice President and Chief Executive of Living Energy Div. in 2012. He then served as the Representative Director and President from 2014, and as the Director and Chairperson from 2018. He became the Senior Corporate Advisor from 2023.

Sakie T. Fukushima

(President & Representative Director, G&S Global Advisors Inc.)

Prior to establishing her own firm in 2010, Ms. Fukushima headed the Japan operations of Korn/Ferry International and was on the firm's global board of directors. Previously, she worked at Bain & Company. Since 2001, she has served on the board of directors of 12 Japanese companies (including Kao, Sony, Mitsubishi Corp., and Konica Minolta) and on the advisory board of the Development Bank of Japan. She was vice chairman of the Japan Association of Corporate Executives (Keizai Doyukai), 2011-2015. She was educated at Seisen University (B.A.), Harvard University (Ed.M.), and Stanford University (MBA).

Tetsuo Tsuneishi

(Director, Tokyo Electron Device LTD)

Tetsuo Tsuneishi Joined Tokyo Electron(TEL) in 1976, and became General Manager of Overseas Sales Division and Director in 1992. He was appointed Representative Director and Senior Managing Director in 1998, and Representative Chairman from 2017 to June 2022.
He has been in his current position since June 2013.

He has also held important positions such as Chairman of SEMI (Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International), an industry organization, and currently serves as Emeritus.

Prior to joining TEL, Mr. Tsuneishi graduated from Osaka University's Department of Electronics / Communications Engineering.

Toru Takakura

(Director and Chairman of the Board, Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Group, Inc. (SuMiTG))

Toru Takakura joined the Sumitomo Trust & Banking Co., Ltd., presently Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited (SuMiTB), in 1984 after graduating from the Faculty of Law, University of Tokyo.

He became the General Manager of the Integration Promotion Department in 2009 and took the lead in establishing SuMiTG and SuMiTB.

In 2012, he was appointed as Director, Managing Executive Officer of SuMiTB. Since then, he has served as a Director of SuMiTG and SuMiTB.

He served as Director, President, Representative Executive Officer of SuMiTG from 2021, and in April 2026, he was appointed Director and Chairman of the Board of SuMiTG.

Tsutomu Tannowa

(Outside Director, TOKYO GAS CO.,LTD)

Tsutomu Tannowa joined Mitsui Toatsu Chemicals (now Mitsui Chemicals) in 1976 after graduating from Waseda University. He gained international experience through a petrochemical complex construction project in Algeria and later held senior leadership positions in administration, human resources, and industrial chemicals. Appointed President and Representative Director in 2014, he led business restructuring and the formulation of mid-term management plans. After serving as Chairman of the Board of Mitsui Chemicals, he stepped down from the position in March 2026. He currently serves as an outside director of several companies. Having served as Chairman of the Japan Chemical Industry Association, he has contributed to the development of the chemical industry in Japan and internationally, and in 2024 received the Public Service Star (Distinguished Friends of Singapore) Award from the Government of Singapore.

Yasunori Nakagami

(Founder, Misaki Capital Inc.)

Yasunori Nakagami began his career as a management consultant at Andersen Consulting (currently Accenture) and Corporate Directions, Inc. where he spent nearly 20 years in the industry.

He founded an investment advisory company in April 2005 and built the team, the process, and the investment philosophy with the previous engagement fund that became the genesis of Misaki Capital which he co-founded in 2013.

Yasunori received his B.A. in Economics from Keio University and MBA from University of California, Berkeley.

Yoshihito Yamada

(Chairman, OMRON Corporation)

Yoshihito Yamada joined OMRON Corporation in 1984 after graduating from the Faculty of Economics at Doshisha University. Over the course of his career, he has held a range of leadership roles across healthcare and corporate strategy, building extensive global experience. After serving as President and CEO from 2011 to 2023, he assumed the role of Chairman of the Board in 2023, where he oversees board governance and sustainability initiatives. He also serves as an outside director at NEC Corporation, J. FRONT RETAILING Co., Ltd and Mitsubishi UFJ Securities Holdings Co., Ltd.

Yoshinori Isozaki

(Representative Director and Chief Executive Officer, Kirin Holdings Co, Ltd)

Yoshinori Isozaki has been the CEO of Kirin Holdings Co., Ltd since 2015. He joined Kirin Brewery Co., Ltd. in 1977 and has worked in various areas, including business development, overseas business, and corporate strategy. He was appointed as the Senior Executive Director of Kirin Holdings Co., Ltd in 2010 and became the President and CEO of Kirin Brewery Co., Ltd in 2012.

He graduated from Keio University with a Bachelor of Economics and from Cornell University with a Master of Hotel Administration.
